Derek is an undergraduate student in the Data Analytics program at Nebraska Wesleyan University. His Mexican American heritage is an important part of his identity and shapes his perspective both personally and professionally. He has experience working in the university’s study abroad office, where he assisted students in planning international experiences while also pursuing opportunities to travel. In his free time, Derek enjoys traveling, hiking, and learning about different cultures.
