|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on day 5 of May, repeating indefinitely
Cinco de Mayo, or Battle of Puebla Day, is a commemoration of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War and in fact is not Mexican Independence Day, which is a common misconception. Cinco de Mayo is common celebrated among Mexican-American communities and parts of Mexico.
