This program recognizes student innovation and youth-led solutions to fight hunger in the U.S. These young people are creating awareness and mobilizing peers in their communities to be catalysts for change.

The award will support data-informed practices to identify predictors and variables related to gun crime in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with an intent to reduce the frequency of violence.

The Beckman Center offers an array of post-doctoral, dissertation, short-term, and distinguished fellowships for both extended stays and shorter durations on an annual cycle for scholars whose research would benefit from the use of their collections. While in residence, fellows are expected to participate in regular informal writing groups, give at least one lecture, and more generally contribute to the vitality of our fellowship community.

The foundation is searching for entrepreneurs and community leaders working with marginalized, refugee and forcibly displaced communities around the globe to participate in a year-long program designed to equip these next-generation entrepreneurs and leaders with the skills and experience to increase access to economic opportunity, integrate into their communities, succeed in the evolving nature of work, and transform their communities.
