Trisha Mukherjee

Trisha is a multimedia journalist covering global human rights. Her work focuses on immigration, reproductive rights, conflict, climate, and religion. She is currently a David Jayne Fellow at ABC News’ international bureau in London, where she has reported on wildfires in Bolivia, Afghan women resisting the Taliban, the daily trauma of children in Gaza’s orphanages, mass deportations in the Dominican Republic, and more. Previously, she studied at Columbia University for both her bachelor’s degree in human rights and her master’s degree in journalism. She also worked at iHeartMedia as a podcast producer and as an independent journalist reporting from India to Mexico to New York City.
