Carrie Cathleen is soon completing her BSc in Biochemistry with IT from Maseno University. Her research has focused on antimicrobial resistance, and she is interested in how science can be applied to address global health challenges. Alongside her academic work, she has also led community outreaches to raise awareness on patient centred care and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Carrie is passionate about research, cross-cultural learning, and opportunities that promote innovation in health. She hopes to build a career in research and global health, applying her scientific background to advance development and create sustainable solutions that improve community well-being. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, wildlife observation and reading.
