This World Day aims to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of Tuberculosis, and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic. TB remains the world’s deadliest infectious killer yet it is preventable and curable. It is imperative that the International community comes together to end TB and eliminate its mortality rate.
