Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies

This program promotes young North American researchers with specialized knowledge of modern and contemporary Germany and Europe. It also supports scholars in all social science and humanities disciplines, including historians working on the period since the mid-18th century. Fellowships are awarded for doctoral dissertation research as well as postdoctoral research.

Global Ties U.S. members across the United States provide hospitality and assistance to current and emerging foreign leaders through this professional exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Participants have professional interests are interested in supporting U.S. foreign policy goals. Participants are nominated by staff at U.S. Embassies.
