Berlin Fellowship

Humanity in Action
The Berlin Fellowship will examine German colonialism throughout the 20th century and its repercussions.The German Reich enforced colonialism and violence on regions in Africa and Asia that left a lasting impression on both colonized and colonizers. A major focus of the Fellowship will be the study of colonial legacies and their significance for German social structure, national identity, and human rights.
